Winterize sprayer
1. Clean sprayer inside and out. Turn on all the nozzles, engage pto and spray water through nozzles to ensure none are clogged.
2. Drain all water from the tank and filter. Check air damper on pump for 35 to 40 psi.
3. Place 2 gallons of Anti-freeze in sprayer for 3-point models, 3 gallons for trailer models. Use either full strength RV -or- 50-50 automotive mixed with water.
4. Turn left and Right controls off and back off on pressure control knob
(Counterclockwise) to start pump at no load condition.
5. Gently engage PTO and gradually increase pressure to 20 bars or 300 psi.
6. Turn both Left and Right controls on at same time and spray all antifreeze through nozzles. When sprayer stops spraying disengage PTO and machine is prepared for winter rest. Store machine away from direct sunlight to prevent degradation of tank.
7. Additional steps such as disconnecting hoses from manifolds, draining filter, and opening all ball valves are recommended in Northern climates after winterizing.
